My sustianable agricultural curriculum that includes the current problems the world is facing in terms of agriculture and food insecurity, what is being done to solve the predicament, and what the students can do to make a difference is theoretically sustianable. The lesson had a neutral impact on the enviornment (save for the electricity used to power my computer to create the lesson) and would therefore not utilize or introduce negative effects in the environment. However, the future that the students decide to take, whether it be a profession in sustianable agriculture or not, would only change the direction of the project if it becomes unsustainable, if that future is influenced by the lesson.
However, the lesson had apparently influenced and inspired the students to make some kind of difference in their own ways, some showing interest in the possible sustainable agriculture professions, mostly in the agroecologist, nutritionist, and ecologist roles. I am confident to say that the lesson was successful in its goal, not only informing and clarifying the world of food, but inspiring the students to go beyond small impacts to work on larger impacts in their futures.
